I’m often asked, “What do you wish people knew about you?” Well, let me tell you.
A lot of people see me now and form an opinion of my life, but what most people don’t realize what I’ve been through to get here. There was a time when I was not so fortunate. I once walked in the snow to a diner and begged for a job. I was 15. I did not walk into that diner because I wanted to be a workhorse, even though I became one, it was because I was hungry. I won’t get into too much detail but I am what I am because I say I’ve experienced the worst-case scenario first-hand. I don’t ever want to be in that position again, and I’ll never let my family experience some of what I went through. It’s because of this that I encourage people to get to know me before forming an opinion on my life or my business.
So if you’d like to get to know me, feel free to stop in the salon or book a reservation. Say hi when you see me the grocery store. Get to know me before forming an opinion on my life now. Never judge a book by its cover.
To my loyal friends and guests: Thank you for your continued support to Blu and my other business ventures.
